Stk. 1215 1975 Bricklin SV1
Here's a great example of the innovative Bricklin "Safety Vehicle". This original 1975 Bricklin SV1 was built on 7/2/75, 2072 out of a total number of 2854 built between 1974-1975. A built-in steel roll cage, high impact-absorbing bumpers, and a fuel tank protected on five sides by steel partitions are some of the safety features of Malcom Bricklin's vision. The gullwing doors operate with an upgraded air door conversion system which includes a new Voltair compressor and thermal cut off switch. This classic has been in the South all of its life and family owned for the last 25 years. The Safety White, fiberglass-reinforced acrylic body panels are in excellent condition with no visible sag marks or cracks. Standard equipment includes: 351 Ford Windsor engine, automatic transmission, power steering, air conditioning, tinted glass, mag-style aluminum cast wheels, rear window defroster, tilt steering wheel, and front power disc brakes and rear drum brakes. This car is listed with the Bricklin International Registry as one of 920 known Bricklin survivors in the United States, with safety features far ahead of its time.
