1925 Buick 7 passenger touring model 25-49X. Built for export only. The original wood body framework is rock solid. No rust. Rebuilt running gear. Fresh engine .030 overbore. Runs and drives great. New tires on rare original Buick wire wheels. Easy restoration. Needs paint and upholstery. There are significant differences in the domestic 7 passenger versus the 49X. The 49X was built special for export to the wealthy. George Dummann in his book"70 years of Buick"wrote why Buick never built this beautiful 7 passenger touring for domestic sales is unknown. Most were right hand drive this is a rare and desirable left hand drive. According to the Buick club and AACA it's possibly the only one in the country. It is difficult to place a value on a car this unique. We have gotten appraisals up to $70K. The AACA suggested it's value double of a domestic 7 passenger touring. In 1925 a model T touring sold for $290 a Buick domestic touring sold for $1800. Feel we are fairly priced at $42,000. Welcome serious buyers with serious offers.
