Included in the variety of features was custom interiors, carpeted floors, safety instrument panel cushion, electric window lifts and 2 way power seat adjustment. Also included in the line-up of standard equipment are front-wheel aluminum brake drums.
Standard engine for the Century was the Buick Valve-in-Head B-12000 with 300 hp and 364 cu. in. featuring a Quadrajet carburetor and double "Y" exhaust manifolds. In addition, Buick's Variable Pitch Dynaflow transmission was powered by two turbines and has a maximum torque ratio at stall of 3.5 at 3000."
