This 1967 Buick GS400 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1967 was the first year for the GS400 becoming its own model line. With its strong running massive 400 CID motor it was an instant hit with critics but with sales of only 8000 the public just did not catch on to Buick being a true muscle car. These cars might finally be catching on with prices rising steadily in the past couple years and for good reason. This 67 is a great example of being able to catch one before they get out of hand. The light green paint is a period correct color and looks good on the car. The front fenders have been replaced and look good on the car. The rear quarters have had some work done but all the bad was cut out and new patches welded in giving you a great solid platform that can be driven as is or with just a little more prep work she's ready for a new paint job. Open the door and you will see a nice set of bucket seats upfront with a console separating the two. Ofcourse this is a muscle car so let's get down to what really matters. Pop the hood and you will see the heart of the beast. The healthy running 40 that has less than 10k miles on it is a great sounding strong running motor that produces plenty of power on the low end but really comes to life in the midrange. Hooked up to the Turbo 400 Trans this is one bullet proof drive train. As if that wasn't enough the built Richmond 10 bolt rear end with its 3.90 gear set really puts the power to the drag radials that have been added to the weld rims. All in all with the way market has been going with these Buick's this might be a good time to pick up one at a great price. You can always drive it the way it is or throw a paint job on it up to you. One thing is certain you will have hard time finding a car that is more fun for less money than this GS.
