| Classic and original '63 Riviera project car for sale. 401 nailhead V8, 325 h.p. Known as the poor-man's Eldorado, this is the first year Buick made the Rivi -- a big, heavy, comfortable coupe that goes like hell. I began a frame-on restoration of this awesome all-original (except the paint) car a few years ago and have neither the time or the money to keep it going. Car is sound overall, engine was in great running condition when I took it off the road and only burned a little oil. The original upholstery is near perfect and carpets are decent. All parts are included, including the intact dual exhaust system and several brand-new replacement parts -- coil springs, front end parts, headliner, glove box and more. Car is stored in garage in downtown Hingham and can be shown by appointment. Put it back together and drive as is, or finish what I started. All restored, these babies are selling at $25, 000 - $35,000 so if you're willing to tackle the restoration you coud see quite a return! SOLD |
