1947 Buick Super Convertible For Sale in Chicago. This 47 Buick has a 454 Gm Crate engine, that has 8.75:1 pistons, forged crank and rods, hydraulic roller cam, open chamber rectangular port cylinder heads with 2.19 intake 1.88 exhaust valves, Edelbrock four barrel aluminum intake, Holley 770 CFM Street Avenger carburetor, custom headers, MSD Billet distributor with 6AL ignition box, billet pulleys and brackets. The transmission is a TCI 700R4 automatic. The chassis is a 1947 Buick with a 1976 Nova sub-frame, there are 4 wheel disc brakes, Saginaw close ratio power steering box, air bag suspension up front, dual trailing arm rear suspension with air bags in the rear, and a Ford 9" rear end with 3.55 gears. The wheels and tires are Colorado Custom Wheels 15x7 fronts and 15x8 rears, with BFGoodrich Radial T/A's P225/70R15 all around. The body on this custom 1947 Buick Convertible has molded rear fenders with Oldsmobile Trofeo taillights, Frenched headlights and parking lamps, filled one piece front and rear bumpers, shaved door handles, shaved and filled hood and deck and topped off with beautiful Ivory Parchment paint. The interior of this Buick Super has a Colorado Custom steering wheel, Vintage Air, Classic and Autometer Gauges, tilt column, tan leather and wool over Cadillac Seville bucket seats with reconfigured rear seat, filled dash, and Painless Wiring harness.
