1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible |
Quiet, powerful cruiser. Since acquired in 2004, have replaced the following: frame, rear trailing links, brakes, shocks, rebuilt driveshaft, tires, carburetor, top motor w/hydraulics, weatherstripping. Upgraded to electronic ignition. "Big Red" received new, near-flawless paint and a fresh interior in 2005. Has trophied at local shows, yet is a near-daily driver.
Very dependable automobile. A recent 800+ mile trip produced zero problems while giving a respectable 15 mpg at 70+ mph speeds.
But the beauty of this car is its beauty. Shined up, with the top down and chrome gleaming, it's not just a head-turner, it's a neck-breaker.
I don't want to sell it, but I've got two other cars to tackle and need the space and cash. My loss is definitely your gain. |
