1973 Cadillac El Dorado Convertible For Sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 73 Convertible has 36,872 actual mileage! The 500 cubic inch engine with 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet runs great, with the choke working and a recent tune up. The options on the Cadillac are; power top with new actuators and cables, power windows, power locks, power seat, power antenna, power trunk lid release, cruise control, Climate Control A/C which needs a recharge, 3 speed wipers, Dual Remote side mirrors with a driver's side thermometer, the original Cadillac key set, factory parade boot with original cover sleeve for storage, spare tire cover, AM/FM Delco Stereo radio with seek control, Lighting Package Group, factory clock, rear seat lighters and ashtrays left and right sides, leather interior, and a passenger kick panel garbage can. The tires are newer, so this car is ready to cruise! Starting in 1973 the Eldorado was removed from Fleetwood sub-series status and reestablished as its own totally separate series. The Cadillac Eldorado was chosen as the pace car for the Indy 500 in 1973. All in all, Cadillac produced 566 of these special pace car convertibles. Thirty-three were used at the track during the race week and the remaining 513 cars were distributed to the U.S. Cadillac dealers (one for each dealership), which were then sold to the general public.
