1959 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible.
White over red leather with white top.
This is a consignment listing for a senior friend in IL to rehome this exceptional car.

Exterior: White exterior paint finish is straight, undamaged---no rust ever (see photos). Vehicle has been professionally repainted historically and is a strong 9.5 out of 10 for its quality (no cracked lacquer etc.)
All panels are straight, with no missing trim.
Bright work is very nice and free of any rust or damage. Grille is exceptional at front and rear. Wheel covers do not have any signs of curb scrape etc.
Top is in very good condition and works well.
INTERIOR: Red Leather Bench Seat. No damage. Carpet is clean with no wear spots in the usual wear areas. Odometer indicates 37050 and is believed to be original for its merits. Power windows work smoothly & fast as expected.
Everything works as it should, save for the AC that could stand to be recharged.
MECHANICAL: 390 V8, Starts easily. Runs as it should. Automatic transmission shifts thru all detents as expected. Wide Whitewall tires are new all around.
UNDERCARRIAGE: Please see photos. Except for it's original light surface patina, there is no profound rust to the frame making for a very solid convertible.
Vehicle is located in Chicago. Starts easily & runs well.
These 59's are one of the most iconic GM convertibles ever made and are highly coveted. I suspect the first person who sees it in person will buy it for its merits.
