1949 Cadillac Series 62 

The 1949 Cadillac V8 engine models were awarded the very first Motor Trend Car of the Year award. This Cadillac Series 62 lives up to that honor. The restoration is almost complete on this beauty with completing the interior being all that remains. It’s powered by the original 230hp 331 V8 which has been rebuilt, Tri-power carb, original Hydromatic 4-speed tranny and dual exhaust. It has a new front end, new bearings, new brakes and all the mechanicals are either new or rebuilt. The black exterior is in very good condition and is straight and solid. The gray cloth interior is exceptionally roomy, as you would expect from Cadillac. It has the original clock and radio and a Mooneyes aftermarket Tachometer. This was originally a West Coast car. The caliber of all work performed on this vehicle is of the highest quality, the entire vehicle is both highly detailed and extremely well finished.

When the potential buyer becomes serious, I put them in touch with the owner who can answer specific questions about the vehicle.
