With a little tweaking this car will be ready to be out on the open road! This is a good, solid car! The frame, body & jams are in excellent shape, very little rust anywhere & as far as I know no major bodywork has been done. To my knowledge there are only a few things that would need taken care of immediately: the gas filler tube (which I have a new one of), light sockets for front light bar, tail lights need minor work & inspection.

Nearly new battery, 283 small block engine; 3-speed transmission; new Edelbrock carburetor, 600 cfm; black & white leather seats are in excellent condition, buckets up front, original bench in rear. Car has all original chrome with slight rust on rear bumper guards. Also has all original glass with cracks in two of the side panels. Transmission & motor have been replaced. Car has 7” front & 8” rear Keystone aluminum rims with nearly new tires.

Has been garage kept since at least 1983. Previous owner had car repainted in 1983 (red metal flake & white) & carpets & headliner replaced. (I believe the original paint color to have been pink.) Previous owner also reinforced front floor pans with sheet metal.

I had the following garage work done right after purchasing her: dual exhaust replaced (including muffler); 4 brake drums resurfaced; replaced all brake shoes; RR & RF wheel cylinders & brake hoses replaced; wiring repaired, including wire terminals; brake switch; voltage regulator; headlight switch; various filters, spark plugs & belts. Has hardly been out of the garage since1998.

I have the following brand new Danchuk (1957) parts that will go along with the car: grille bar assembly; bumper bullets; windshield wiper transmission; (dual) windshield wiper kit with intermittent switch, escutcheons, polished stainless steel blades & arms; battery box & hold down kit; gas pedal with nylon insert; (black) emergency brake handle; molding, rocker panel; license plate cushion/trunk lid set; door lock knobs; harness, under dash; gas tank filler & vent hose kit; 180 degree thermostat; temperature sending unit; replacement fuel pump; fresh air inlet sleeve; heater cable with steel casing; harness, clock socket & pigtails; turn signal switch with wiring; tail light harness; speedometer cable; lighter fuse harness; back-up lights harness; courtesy lamp harness; heater fan motor harness; heater control panel light harness; under dash harness.

I can make ANYTHING out of wood; however, I am not a mechanic. I purchased this car in 1998 in hopes of having the time & patience to tinker & to learn. Unfortunately, neither of these things has presented themselves & it’s time to let someone else have her to enjoy.
