The year was 1950, Truman was President, The Korean War began, and not until the following year did we have color TV. It was the third year for Chevrolet's 3100. Sales were continuously strong. This was also the year that telescopic shock absorbers replaced the lever-action style and it was the last year for a driver's side cowl vent. Looking back, this truck is proud of its heritage but in its current state, there's not much better that this! With a recent face lift this 3100 offers a 355 CID V8 engine under the hood backed by a Muncie 4-spd Hurst shifting manual transmission. An F-Body sub frame is underneath for added performance and structural integrity.
