1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 

The 1957 Chevrolet is a car which was introduced by GM in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range 210 and the 150. This particular 57 Bel-Air was given a frame off restoration that was completed in 2009 and has only been driven 603 miles since. During the restoration the frame was sand blasted and painted with black enamel paint. The body was stripped of all bolt-on parts and the floor pans were then sand blasted and painted to match the frame. The original all steel body was given an amazing 12 coats of correct Tropical Turquoise for a deep rich original finish. The paint is 10 years old but shows like new. During the restoration it was fitted with a Performance built LT-1 that is now a 355ci and is equipped with tuned port fuel injection. It is equipped with performance heads and headers and sounds just plain nasty ripping through its performance exhaust. It is now equipped with a 700R4 transmission and the power is put to the 9” posi rear end effortlessly. The suspension has been upgraded and it now has power brakes with disc brakes up front. During the restoration it was fitted with a new Black / Turquoise interior which is mostly original except for the steering wheel, the Ididit tilt steering column, the stereo with CD changer, the added a/c vent, the added gauges as well as the brake and gas pedals. It has an original spare in the trunk but it is currently fitted with a gorgeous set of Boyd Coddington billet rims which really set off the exterior giving this car the look she screams for. All said and done over $100,000 was spent building this beauty and it still shows like new.
