This is the project car you have ever been looking for. All the hard work has already been done! Fresh rebuilt 283 motor. Which I believe is the correct engine for this car. Runs very good! Transmission is also fresh rebuild. Front end has also been rebuilt. New 2 ¼ ” exhaust from front to rear, with flow master mufflers. The entire brake system has been rebuilt. New tires.
This car is very original. It has all of it’s original sheet metal, chrome, stainless trim and interior. (Needs to be restored)
Body is very straight and have not been able to find any bondo. Does have some rust that will need repaired. Has rust in the rockers, but new rockers come with the car. Has rust in the front floor under drivers feet. Small rusted area on the passengers side. Has very good trunk floor with the exception of rust at the very back edge of the trunk floor. Has the typical rust in drivers side front fender at top. Also new braces that go out to the rockers that come with the car. Have replacement ends for the rear bumper for replacements that comes with the car.
This has already been a ten year project that former owner could not complete. You can drive this car now as a rat rod and restore as you go. Or paint it, put new interior in and have a great 57 Chevy for a cheap price.
