1970 Chevrolet C10

This truck's original owner was my Grandfather. I've been restoring it and have done a tremendous amount of work on it, keeping the restoration all in original parts, except the steering wheel.

HERE'S WHAT HAS BEEN DONE

Total Body Rehab- removal of all rust, custom paint (candy apple red), replaced all mirrors, windshield wipers, and added a bedliner

Interior Restoration- Completely redone. Seats are leather and cloth, rolled and pleated, door panels are cloth and leather as well, with original parts. Dashboard refinished in cloth. New glove compartment, new mats, flooring custom painted (candy apple red), new steering wheel, new stock seat belts to match interior. NOT ANY RUST AT ALL!!

MECHANICAL-Brand NEW 350 V8 runs perfect, less than 450 miles on it, doesn't leak oil.

Replaced battery, replaced radiator, replaced both front and back brakes. Replaced front and back hoses and wheel cylinders. Replaced choke coil, distributor cap and choke pull. Replaced lug nuts, and tail shaft seal. Rewired electrical for lights, replaced bulbs, replaced gas and heat gauges.

TIRES- Less than 450 miles on them, P35/75R15, original, great condition, hubcaps and rims, one rim is bent and needs repair before hubcap can be installed.

Front Gill and bumper restored and in great condition, back bumper with hitch, restored to operational but needs to be chromed or painted.

WORK YOU NEED TO DO

Transmission needs a seal replaced (does leak a little), is slow to warm when truck sits(let engine run for 5 mins or so before driving) but when used as a daily driver, does fine.

Needs an A/C unit, did have one originally but no longer operational. We bought the compressor for a/c and it comes with truck.

Has original stereo, which is operational when connected, but needs to be replaced.

Chrome or paint the bumper and the side mirrors.

This is a great truck and hard to let go of, but the truck needs a good home with more time than I currently have.
