1973 Camaro Rally Sport LT 18500.
This Camaro is currently equipped with a GM crate motor known as the HT383, which is a factory 383 stroker motor making about 420 lb ft of torque if memory serves. Exhaust system is ceramic coated Headman competition headers, compression collectors with Flowmaster mufflers. Vehicle is setup with a T-56 6spd transmission (LT1 style) utilizing a McLeod street twin clutch and McLeod adj master cyl. Stopping power is supplied with Bear 13" fronts, stock drum rear via Hydro-boost assisted master cyl. Ride height is adjustable via QA1 double adjustable coil overs with variable rate big block springs. Coil overs/springs are fitted with bearings to make for easy setup if desired. Instrumentation comes via Covan dash fitted with complete Autometer Ultralight II's. (Original rally cluster will go with the car as well) Body & rear spring mounts have been replaced with poly bushings and complete front end rebuild to make for a solid, responsive handling ride. Can be driven anywhere with great fuel economy & pwr. Wheels are Boyd Coddington 17" front/rear. This car is a factory A/C car however, that system is in need of repair although all components are intact. This car has had a paint over of the original approximately 20 yrs ago. Although it does shine and is presentable; it is not of show quality condition but rather that of a fun driver/weekend cruise night. Most of the original green interior remains as the day it left the factory with signs of age/wear and new blk carpet installed. Drivers seat cover is torn and the dash pad has curled in one area. The cars body is very solid having only signs of minor rust/bubbles behind the rear wheels. Floors, doors, trunk, front clip are all solid and it hasn't had the typical bondo cover up done to it. I believe this car is an original RS/LT and suspect someone put a Z28 spoiler on it over the years (although, I'm not sure how to be sure if it is a real Z28 or not - doubt it).
