| I have a beautiful 1982 Camaro Z28 Crossfire Injection that has been almost fully restored. It needs a couple of things to be 100% again but it is overall a really nice car for it's age and very fun to drive. The paint job is only 2 years old and still shines like a new paint job, Has 35% tint on windows, It has new upholstery on the seats and new carpet on the console, new dash pad, new power window switches, repainted interior door handles, has a new battery (not even a year old), excellent headliner and speaker sail panels (they were redone a few years ago), new speakers all the way around including two 10 inch Pioneer subwoofers with a 700 watt TIS Mosfet amp and Panasonic CD stereo head unit, newer interior dome light cover (which I did buy new for the car), original carpet is still in nice shape for it's age (only shows very little wear in some spots of the carpet at the back seat), replaced the rear interior panels (originals were all faded out and deteriorating), odometer reads only 117k miles, The 305 Crossfire Injected V8 was fully rebuilt 18k miles ago and was bored 0.30 over (runs out great), Flowmaster exhaust with chrome tips (sounds really good), The brakes have been redone all the way around. The things that it needs to be 100% again is a new front bumper cover (have one new in the box for this car). The original one on the car was damaged when someone backed into it sometime last year and the hood I just recently put on it needs to be reprimered and prepped up for paint. It also needs some of the weather stripping replaced. You have to disconnect the battery or pull out the fuel pump fuse when not being driven because the fuel pump doesn't switch off when you turn off the ignition (not sure what is causing that problem) it drains down the battery. The gauges don't work because it needs a new circuit board and the speedometer doesn't work correctly (needle spins around) the odometer and trip meter still work. This is truly a really nice car. Drive it like it is or just finish fixing it up to make it 100%. If I end up fixing those repairs the value will go up on this car. I have won two trophies with this car one was at Food Lion Auto Fair in Charlotte for most improved and one at a Car show and Chili cook off in Trinity and got 2nd place in my class at that show. Would like to sell the car ASAP. SOLD |
