Here in the Houston Showroom we have this standout 1968 Chevrolet “Corvette Bronze” Camaro SS 396cid. This all numbers matching Camaro is super sharp, and has been extremely well maintained. This particular Camaro was built in Norwood, Ohio. The engine was assembled in Tonawanda, New York on April 4th with the 396cid and manual transmission at 325 HP. The transmission was built on April 2nd 1968. The rear end was assembled at Detroit Gear and Axel plant during the 1st shift on November 26th with 3.07 gears. The body style 2 door coupe was built in Norwood, Ohio in the month of April 1968 with code 712 interior trim, standard black bucket seats, body color Corvette Bronze, and black vinyl top.
According to the history of the car, and with 60K miles. The engine has never been removed from the car. Some items that have been replaced over the past year: Instrument cluster circuit board with instrument carrier housing, complete A/C and heater system (Vintage Air), plug wires, sparkplugs, dist. Cap and rotor, steering column boot, black loop carpet set, stereo/speakers, back deck cover, frame paint, Dynamat Xtream Bulk Kit, rear seat cover, rear axel/bearings, inner fender splash seals, fan switch for air, belts/hoses, bell housing cover, water temp sensor, shift boot, door lock knobs, done lamp, windshield washer pump, console water temp gauge.
