1968 Chevrolet Chevelle |
This is one setup vehicle, very aggressive and ALL my neighbors KNOW IT! The car has never been raced, yet it is surely built for it. I am about 3/4ths done and the hard work of proper engine building, setup & correct placement and drive train design - has been completed. This is a clone by the numbers, yet it must have been “SS cloned” with the SS trim, the day the car was bought. The paint and interior are not show quality. Yet, the paint still shines and the interior is not trashed. I am selling due to medical reasons, meaning I cannot physically work on these kinds of cars anymore.
1972 “402” GM High Performance engine- rebuilt (300 miles ago) to accommodate modifications, but extremely low original miles on block and rotation assembly
Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold
Comp Cams camshaft (#11-213-3) w/292 degrees of rotation and over 0.500” of lift. (this cam is LOUD and POWERFUL, so be aware of this before inquiring)
Holley #80508-1 (w/4150 conversion), 4-Barrel, 750cfm carburetor, electric choke, vacuum secondary.
Moroso valve train stabilizer bars & Blue Max custom wire set
Moog front end bushings, springs, and other components
Borg Warner T-10 4-speed…w/Hurst shifter
Lakewood clutch housing, NOS OEM fork arm & adjustable pivot ball, “Z” bar and Center Force “Dual Friction” clutch system
12-Bolt rear end
ALL NEW custom exhaust
NEW Mallory Hy-Fire 6A ignition
This car is NOT rust “cancer” ridden.
Have both sets of the Chevy shop manuals (’68 & ’72) and the factory assembly manuals.
