1971 Chevrolet Chevelle |
This 1971 blue Chevelle is a beauty indeed. Look at these features.
A 454 high performance engine. This engine is completely rebuilt and it is bored .030 over. The new parts include: new small dome pistons, single moly rings, clevetite bearings, flepro seals and gaskets, a high performance street strip camshaft with machine lifters and springs, high pressure oil pump with welded on pick up tube. The heads are the large oval port high performance heads with open chambers. They have a 3 angle valve job, new seals, new guide liners, new performance springs that match the cam. The intake is an aluminum edelbrock performer RPM with a Holley 750 carburetor. This engine has LESS than 100 miles on it, and it is completely new. It runs great. It is 9.0 to 1 compression that will rum on pump gas. It surely is a blast to drive.
A Muncie M 21 close 4 speed SS Chevelle transmission recreation with Hurst shifter. This transmission has been completely rebuilt. All new bearings, seals and sybchros are installed. A Hurst super competition shifter is included. It works perfect and shifts great!!
This Chevelle has power disk brakes and power steering also, so it is very nice to drive. It goes strait down the road. stops perfect and it shifts easily.
Mariner blue metallic with black supersports (SS) stripes and black vinyl top. The interior is black with bench seats. It is very clean with no visible tears. The carpet is clean and a full set of sun pro gauges have been installed including a tac, nice, clean interior.
The body is in excellent condition with no rust or major dents. It is very clean. The mariner blue paint is clean with bright, vivid black SS stripes. A couple of very small marks are visible on the paint as it is not a new paint job, but they are very minor and very few. It is pretty close to perfect. The engine compartment is also very clean with no rust under it. The supper sport SS emblems are installed and new. The SS super sport cowl induction hood is also included. Overall, it is a very, very nice 71 big block Chevelle.
