For sale: 1965 Chevelle Pro Street

Custom from front bumper to rear. The car has been silver
since 2006 and is rust free if it wasn't it would be showing
by now. The wheel wells were modified for tire access
and clearance I have owned this car since 1997. I did the
back half my self with a kit from ART in Florida. It certified after it was done. I also did all the aluminum
work to. The car has a fiberglass hood and deck lid.
I raced the car stripped down with a n/a 496 th400
430 geared 12 bolt it ran 9:60,70s @140.00mph. The
car is well built to last. It was done in 2000 never a
problem. I kept it street legal it has been a cruiser for
years and is a joy to drive. It has aftermarket control arms
in front with with QA1 pro adjustable coilovers front and rear. The steering is AGR variable ratio power steering
box and KRC pump and new flaming river tilt column.
The car has been rewired front to back 8 circuit box to run
the car and a new rollbar mounted ARC panel to run the
engine and electronics. The car has all the glass and works.
It is insured licensed and titled in louisiana.
DRIVETRAIN: The motor is 555cu in th400 combo
Merlin III big bore block full of all the good stuff 4340
crank&rods je blower pistons,lunati vodoo roller cam
comp street&marine lifters,jesel valve train,chrome moly
pushrods,brodix2plus heads,titanium 10 degree retainers arp fasteners thru out. Msd digital ignition box timing control by computer and is adjustable.
The crank has been cut for 2 keys. The blower is by The
Blower Shop 8-71 18% overdrive BDS hat and hardware.
Fuel injection is by FAST with their latest and easiest 2.0
software installed learning capability this is a hard to tune
combo the 2.0 is effortless and easy anybody familiar
with the XFI knows it is one of the best they made the system easier to use and self fine tuning.
This is a real street car that doesnt run hot and gets reasonably well mileage fuel system is by aeromotive and a 15gal aluminum cell. The
cooling system is a mazere pump and 19x31 radiator
dual electric flexalite fan system. The accessory drive
system is serpentine w/140 amp cs144 alternator. The
trans has just been gone thru pro transbrake JW bellhousing
9.5 pro edge converter roller tail shaft with chrome moly
drive shaft & yokes. Co2 shifter cheeter shifted by the XFI.
A strange engineering dana 60 373 gears 35 spline spool
axles willwood pro street disc brakes all 4 coners & master cylinder. Wheels are by weld 15x15 & 15x4 power coated
and new tires.
