This '65 Malibu Convertible is powered by a 327 CID V8 engine backed by a Tremec TKO 500 5-speed manual transmission running to a 12 bolt rear end with 3:73 gears. The rebuild included 461 heads, Comp Cam, Harland Sharp roller rockers, Holley 670 Avenger carburetor with electric choke, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold and a Pertronix billet distributor. The classic is running at 9.5:1 compression. The Tremec TKO 500 manual transmission is paired with a Centerforce clutch making this classic convertible an absolute blast to drive! The '65 Malibu has recent Moser 30 spline axles, bearings, and seals. The convertible stops and handles better than expected with power disc brakes up front, Hotchkis lower control arms and recently replaced front coil springs, ball joints and upper & lower A-arm bushings.
