This is a VERY RARE ZR1, of the 448 produced in 1995 only 25 were painted in Dark Purple Metallic and this was 1 of only 18 delivered in Canada, and probably the only one in this color. The documentation includes a laminated window sticker from GM of Canada in Canadian dollars in both French and English. Also, the original dealer invoice from Wolfe Chevrolet in Vancouver, BC. The unique LT5 four cam engines which were manufactured by Mercury Marine produced very impressive 405hp and 385 lbs. torque. The ZR-1 option package added $31,258 US$ to the price of a standard Corvette Coupe, just about doubling the price. In addition to this fantastic engine the package also included; 6 speed manual transmission, wide body panels, special 17” wheels and Z rated tires, selective ride suspension, 6 way power seats, electronic A/C and AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player, in addition this car has the two top option with a solid removable top as well as the blue tinted transparent top. With only 9,905 original miles this Corvette has never been exposed to bad weather and looks like new, it has been owned by a very meticulous Corvette collector who has stored the car in a climate-controlled building.
