The car underwent a restoration in 1994 and the car has a booklet full of receipts for parts and work done. Red paint, Corvette hub caps, and white wall tires just scream "Classic"! 1962 was the last year for the C1 body’s before the release of the sting ray style C2s and was also the fastest C1 with the 283CID engine being replaced with a 327Cid V8 which cranked out nearly 60 more horsepower! Along with that it was the last year for the wraparound windshield, solid rear axle and the convertible only body style, additionally a trunk lid and exposed tail lights did not make it back on the Corvettes for many decades.
