The C3 Corvette (3rd generation) was produced by Chevrolet from 1968 – 1982. Although it's the third generation of the Corvette it is only the second generation of the Stingray. The Corvette C3 was patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda. The 1975 model was advertised as a more efficient Corvette as service intervals were extended and an electronic ignition as well as the federally mandated catalytic converter were introduced which required it to run on unleaded fuel. Dual exhaust pipes were routed to a single converter then split again leading to dual mufflers and tailpipes. 75's featured revised inner bumper systems with molded front and rear simulated bumper guards. The urethane rear bumper, now in its second year, reappeared as a one-piece seamless unit. This particular example was nicely optioned with the L48 350ci engine, Turbo 400 tranny, 3.08 posi rear end, A/C (components missing), T-Tops, power steering, power brakes and a telescopic tilt steering wheel. It has 84,486 original miles and it retains its original numbers matching block. It was just repainted in it its original color of Classic White and it shows perfectly. The Dark Blue interior is mostly new and original with the exception of the Alpine CD player which has a 3.5mm audio jack. With the exception of the A/C everything is working properly and the car is in need of nothing. We would appraise this is a number 2 car which currently has a value of $19,850.00. We know the market is soft and have priced this as a number 3 car accordingly! For more pictures and a video of the engine visit HotRodsChoppers.com SOLD
