For sale is a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette located in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1996 Corvette began its life optioned with the LT-4 5.7L V8 and 6 speed manual transmission from the factory which was one of about 1,100 produced. Since then this car has been rebuilt for speed! This 1996 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by its rebuilt, numbers matching LT-4 V8 engine, backed by a ZF 6-speed manual transmission, running to a Dana 44 rear end with 4.09 gears with 66,995 actual miles. The original 5.7 liter LT-4 V8 has been bored out to 388 CID with a Scat stroker crankshaft, Scat connecting rods, 11.8 to 1 compression KB pistons, Stage 3 aluminum ported intake and cylinder heads, custom Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, aftermarket pushrods and roller rockers, and Bosch 60 lb fuel injectors. The transmission is a new N.O.S. ZF 6-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce clutch and a new driveshaft. This runs power back to a Dana 44 rear end with Yukon 4.09 gears out to Heavy Duty half shafts. The suspension was also upgraded with an Exotic Muscle 5 Link rear suspension and sway bars along with Carrera Coilovers at all four corners. Keeping you safe on the track is a certified 8 point roll cage, racing seats, 5 point seat belts, fire suppression system, and an explosion proof transmission blanket.
