For sale in our Chicago showroom is this sporty 2005 Chevrolet Corvette. 2005 marked the first year of the sixth generation, or C6, of the Chevrolet Corvette. With this came many minor changes, as well as a few major ones. The 5.7L LS1 engine was replaced with the same engine which was in the outgoing models Z06. The new power plant, the LS6, was a larger 6.0L displacement and made about 75hp more than the LS1. The major exterior change is the removal of the flip-up headlights. 2005 was the first year that the Corvette has had stationary headlights since 1962. This particular model is an automatic transmission. This model also is a convertible, and is just waiting to tear up the roads with the top down.
