Built to the truest ideals of prostock, this Corvette is sporting a smallblock 350, built up and reinforced, and mated to one of the most popular transmissions used in bracket racing, the 2-speed Powerglide automatic. When you factor in the gear ratio of 4.56:1 to all of this with a massive stall converter, this car is ready for the track and ready to burn some rubber. This car was registered to run high 9's in the 1/4 mile bracket racing division and it shows the second you get behind the wheel. Fully tubbed rear and a complete custom interior are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this car, with the interior being gutted and fitted with literally only the necessary equipment , like the sport bucket drivers seat and 5 point harness. The console is built for function over form, allowing a high rise to give you a little added protection, but still fits the shifter in the center. Also included in the console and the main switches used during ignition, including ignition system cutoff, and fuel pump cutoff. The outside of the car is painted a beautiful Corvette Red and has been adorned with a number of stickers from various suppliers of the build. On the rear is the safety electrical cutoff switch, as well as rear mounted charging posts for the battery. Finally, the roll cage is a complete weld with no swingout arms, this cage is strictly built to keep you safe and secure.
