1939  Chevrolet  Coupe

We have had quite a few award winning cars in our inventory. Normally you don’t get a chance to own an award winning vehicle until a few years after the owner/builder has had their fun. This is the very first time that we have offered for sale to the public a car that has won MAJOR AWARDS as recent as 2002-2004. One look at this black beauty and it is easy to see why this all steel 39 Chevy is picked often by the judges. It goes without saying that every part of this car has been professionally done. It is powered by a 350 cubic inch Z-28 TPI engine, it has a Griffin Big Tube Polished radiator, Block Hugger Hot Powder Coated Headers, 2 ¼” Polished Stainless exhaust, Custom Stainless Mufflers, Street and Performance Pulleys & Serpentine Belts Assembly. The transmission is a 4L60E overdrive, Lokar shifter. The body on this award winner was massaged by Dave Watson of Watson’s Auto Body, in Seville, Ohio. It was then painted by Dave, using PPG/ICI Black. The front suspension is a Fatman Tubular Mustang II with Air-Ride Suspension Bags. Rear suspension is a Fatman Triangulated 4-Bar with Air-Ride Suspension Bags. The rearend is an 8” Ford with 370 gears. Front brakes are Mustang II with Custom Caliper Covers. Classic gauges help monitor all vital statistics. Listen to the tunes on a remote Alpine/3head CD Radio, Pioneer 6” Coaxials w/Kicker Amp. Vintage Air, Ron Francis/Painless wiring, IDIDIT steering column with a Banjo wheel. English Leather stitched by Paul Atkins of Cullman, Alabama. Tan Mercedes Wool Carpet.
