1969 Chevrolet El Camino

The 396 cu. In. engine has been replaced with a 454 cu.in. and has been completely reconditioned (907 miles as of July 2016, have original receipt). It has a Welland intake and a four barrel Holley carburetor. The valve covers and open element air breather and alternator brackets are new. The ignition has been upgraded with H.E.I. The headers are Hedman Ceramic coated and the mufflers are Flow Master with chrome tips. The four core radiator core is new. The under the hood compartment is in show condition.

The M21 four speed standard transmissions has been reconditioned with a new clutch and posy differential with a 308 gear and is in excellent condition.

The power brakes are front disc and rear drum and have been completed renewed.

The 225/60/R14BF Goodrich T tires are new. The original style wheels, centres and beauty rings are new.

The coil springs, shocks and bushings have been renewed.

The power steering and all steering component have been renewed.

The original bucket seats have been refurbished and re-upholstered with the authentic material. The side door panels, are rests, dash pad and rug have been renewed. The complete interior is in show condition.

This vehicle has a Pro tach mounted on the steering column, Auto Meter Heat & Oil gauges, after-market outer chrome mirrors and new reproduction horns.

The outer body, doors, tail gate and hood are original, the front fenders and rear quarter panels have been renewed. The entire body has been stripped to the metal, refurbished and painted base coat clear coat. The paint has been sanded and polished to show condition.

The frame and underbody has been sandblasted and painted. The body mounts; brake and gas lines are new. The complete underbody is in show condition. The box floor is in immaculate condition.

The original front and rear bumpers are slightly tarnished. The fender opening stainless, door handles, all SS Signets, bed rail mouldings and til gate mouldings are new. The original tail lights and lenses are in excellent condition.

The windshield is new; the remaining tinted glass is original and is in excellent condition. All rubber door moldings and seals are new.

All under the hood wiring is new. The under the dash wiring is original. The wiper motor, alternator vinyl top and water pump are new.

This is a southern vehicle; the workmanship in this restoration is exceptional. It is very original and is in show condition
