This is an incredible Car!!! This is a true 1964 Impala Super Sport completed in 2011 by a Florida Engineer. It took over three years and $70000 to complete. Everything is new or correctly rebuilt.
This is possibly the only 64 SS with a Chevrolet race inspired Z11 rear axle assembly with DANA components. Factory posi "P case" rear-end, 3:42 gears, It’s a Z11 race ready rear end. This was "Chevrolets' first attempts at a four link set-up." Built by South-side Automotive in Minnesota.
This Impala has a “One Off” CPP Steering Box built specifically for this car! Just 2 1\2 turns lock to lock. It handles like a much smaller modern car.
The aggressive looking Hood Scoops are a functional design. They provide cool air under the hood when cruising . They help the 327 “breath” through its’ 409 style air cleaner.
All the trim is authentic GM “engine turned” trim. All the chrome was plated by Frankfort Plating in Pennsylvania.
Many correct components such and modifications focused on safety and performance. All stainless ARP or OEM nuts & bolts were used. Stainless brake and fuel lines too. Hedman Coated Headers feed a custom stainless exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44 Mufflers and Magnaflow turndowns. It has that real old school sound!
It has a period correct 340 hp roller motor with ported and polished heads, MSD ignition, Pro-built distributor and E-3 plugs.
The M20 wide ratio four speed transmission was set-up to the specs of the legendary “Rock Crusher”.

The entire wiring harness was designed and installed by M&H Electrical in Pennsylvania.
It has an Alpine am\fm\cd\mp3 system with a wireless remote.
Beautiful upholstery using all original components and materials. New old stock and original deep grain vinyl materials were used. Seat pleats are deep and correct. Perfect bright trim work. Custom factory look in dash gauges and a factory high rpm tach. Done by “Daytona Interiors”.
The Fuel tank was redone with a sealer in the tank to accommodate all fuels. It runs well on any type of fuel.
The CPP power front disc brakes w\ Drilled and Slotted rotors stop it quickly and smoothly. The Braking and Suspension systems were dialed in on a local Florida race track.
Brightly polished 18” American Racing wheels with spiinners are wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Tires.
The entire underbody, wheel wells, & doghouse are neatly coated with Trans Star rock gaurd made by Underbody Technologies.
Global West and Hotchkis Performance Suspension components and gas tuned shocks make it handles like it is on rails!!!
It was a low mileage, one family owned vehicle from Pennsylvania.
The beautiful Metallic Sky Silver base coat \ clear coat suits this car perfectly!
