For sale in our Chicago showroom is this well-finished 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS. The Impala was the top of the line trim for Chevys full-size “B-body” vehicles. The years have been very good to this Impala. Around 1999 the entire car was given a new lease on life. The old paint was stripped, the body removed from the frame, and every major system on the car was gone through. A fresh 350 CID small block Chevrolet engine making near 360 horsepower was attached to the 4-speed manual transmission. A coat of Marina Aqua Metallic paint was added, in addition for a set of custom alloy rims. The interior was gone through with new black vinyl seats and matching black carpet. The chassis of the car was treated to an Air Ride suspension setup with the tanks mounted in the spacious trunk.The car has been very well taken care of since its restoration, and it shows. The paint is in extremely good condition, and the interior is better than new. One would be hard-pressed to find an impala that shifts as smoothly, or looks as good, as this one. This Impala looks just as good cruising down the highway as it does sitting at the local cruise night. Taking control of the steering is a new Ididit steering column topped by a Billet Specialties leather and aluminum steering wheel.The classic muscle-car sound is sure to invoke onlookers to inquire all the details of this fantastic looking Chevrolet.
