I got this brilliant ??? idea to build a Monte Carlo with a different flair. The two tone Cream & metallic root beer paint scheme is absolutely stunning and totally unique. Bet you’ve never seen one like it !!! The car looks WAY better than the photos. Your numbers matching 402 BIG BLOCK was recently overhauled at a cost of $7500.00 and includes, but not limited to, .030 over KB Hypereutectic pistons (9.75:1) compression, High Energy comp cam, Manley roller rockers, 6 Qt. oil pan, reverse oiled, high volume oil pump,, new fluid damper and flex plate, balanced and zero decked, all new ARP bolts and studs, Edelbrock performer RPM air gap intake and Quadrajet 4 bbl. The heads were completely redone including all new oversized valves, heavy duty springs, etc.. Built to reach 6500+ RPM. Mated to a turbo 400 automatic , mild shift kit, and 2:73 rear gear. The differential obviously, won’t take advantage of all the horsepower but this one was built to drive and actually gets 17-19 mpg on the highway. Change the rear gear and HANG ON !! New battery, starter, wipers, belts, alternator, master cylinder. Power disc front, drum rear .. stops great. New mufflers and tailpipes … nice throaty rumble. All the stainless and chrome are VERY nice. NEW rocker panel moldings and NEW all the lower side pieces of trim from front to back bumper . Also New, all 4 wheel well moldings. Power brakes, power steering, COLD FACTORY AIR converted to 134, all lights work. Horn works. Clock inop. Factory tach, speedometer (91K) & fuel gage work. Aftermarket oil, amp, & temp gages. Pioneer Premier sound system . Original interior and dash is nice .. no cracks. Underside is solid & nothing but normal surface discoloration and dirt, NO ROT!!. NO LEAKS. All the glass is good & operate properly. This is a great car for the money. $13,500.00 …. YES, I know there are cheaper Monte’s for sale. Dad always said “ you get what you pay for “ This car is worth the $ and will put a smile on your face
