1940 Chevrolet Ratrod Hotrod Restomod Pick up
What the hell are you looking at?
This is one of the baddest Rat Rod /Hot rod truck custom builds you will ever find.
This truck is not like most Rat rods that are death traps. It is safe, reliable and operates without issues. We have spent over 56k in parts, labor, design and set up, to bring now what is a one-off custom truck that no one has.
Clear and clean Florida Title in hand. Yes I am located in Toronto, an hour from Buffalo NY border. Bought this truck from Florida but never registered the truck. It still has the original paper work; driving it back across is not an issue. I can drive it back across, to set up and take delivery to your residence in the US. If it stays in Canada you will have to pay the 2k in fees/ taxes to convert the title.
Honest and accurate in the description of this truck and build. Don't rip people off, believe in karma. I know many people like to throw arbitrary numbers of hundreds and thousands spent, but look at just some of the receipts and components on this truck. It’s all brand new. Labor and parts off the charts. Please do not waste your time in low-balling me as I won't respond. No trades. I’m not in a mad rush to sell as I'm on to my next project already. Please note this cab has NO BONDO, NO RUST, it is one of the nicest you will ever see. Comes with clear Florida title and VIN tag on the cab; for 77 years old that is extraordinary.
Frame is custom CNC 5 inch chained link, designed fabricated and built with over 150 hours welding for completion $9300. Upon completion it was coated and driven vigorously, tested for straightness and rigidity. We then stripped it to the frame, and glass blasted it ($1500) just to get to the holes in each chain and underneath to get it prepared for paint. We glass blasted the frame and did the bed.

This is a 1940 Chevy ½ ton pickup with ZERO RUST, the paint is 77 years old Patina Red. There was some custom splashes of orange in the paint to give it a nice old school look, along with the decals on the doors.

This engine has a brand new set of lightweight, fully CNC machined probe forged pistons and sheet pro plasma molly rings (1/16, 1/16, 3/16 oil.) These pistons yield a pump gas friendly 10.251 compression ratio. Keith Black is an industry leader in pistons.
