1951 Chevrolet Styleline

1951 Chevy 2 door Styleline Deluxe coupe. Good straight and solid southern car, No rust!

I starting restoring this car about two years ago. Since that time we have had a new baby so this car needs to go. I don’t have any more time (or money) now to finish it. Here's a list of some of the stuff I have added to the car in the last two years:

: Chassis engineering adjustable independent front suspension system with all new gas shocks, coils, control arms, ball joints, front disc brakes, etc.etc.

: Rack and pinion steering

: Chassis Engineering rear leaf spring set-up with 2 ½” leaf springs and gas shocks.

: GM 10 bolt posi rear end with all new brakes pads and drums.

: New 4 core radiator

: Aluminum High flow water pump

: Polished block hugger headers with an all welded custom dual exhaust system by Lord’s performance

: Turbo 350 transmission with The Hurst Pro-Matic 2 ratchet action shifter built into the custom center console

: Rebuilt GM 350 small block 4 bolt main V-8, Edelbrock 500 CFM Performer Carburetor, Low-Profile polished aluminum Intake manifold, Accel High Performance HEI Distributor, Polished Aluminum (Cal-Custom Style) Valve Covers,

: Custom charcoal gray tweed interior, new carpet, new floor mats to match carpet, Custom tweed and black door panels

: Idiot tilt steering with billet steering wheel

: Walton Fabrication firewall mounted power brake assembly and master cylinder.

: Billet Specialties Vintec 15” Wheels with BF Goodrich 70 series tires, Plus I have the original (4) 15" steel factory wheels with wide white wall tires on them

: Re-chromed original front bumper, Grill, headlight rings, rear fender fins,

Body is solid, Paint is older but still shines pretty good. All the chrome and stainless on the car is in good shape.

Car only needs a couple little things to be finished. Like headliner, a horn, brake lights switch, But as fare as Hot Rods go you and I both know that your never really finished with one. There’s also something you can add here and there.

The first time I listed the car I received a lot of emails asking if the car is driveable. So I pulled the car out of the garage for the first time in over a year and took it for a ride. The car drive nice and tight, Brakes feel good. Steering feels good. Motor runs good, but there is a small oil leak around the front of the oil pan gasket. If not sure if that just from the car setting for so long or what. But it looks like it would a easy fix. I just don't have any more time to do it.
