| This beautiful car was purchased by the current owner in 2003 from Arkansas and had 58,000 original miles at that time. It was frame off restored which took 6 years to build and close to $30,000 in parts alone. The frame has been completely customized and professionally converted to a NASCAR style truck arm suspension with 2” drop spindles in the front and coils in the rear. The engine is a performance built 292 inline 6 cylinder that was bored .060 over and is now a 300. It has 10:1 compression with an aluminum crank, pistons and rods all from Crane. The cam was custom ground by Clifford with a 270 duration and a 5.25 lift. She is fed via a Holley 4 barrel carb with an electronic choke and the intake, head and headers were all purchased new from Clifford Performance products. The entire vehicle was also completely rewired with a Painless E-Z wiring harness. The tranny is a 700R4 with a lock-up converter and is connected to a 10 bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gears. The interior all looks original except for the steering column, the rear package tray and the original gauge cluster which is now fitted with TPI’s Streamline gauges. The original stereo is included with your purchase but it was not installed as the car now has a 12 volt system. It was repainted in 2005 in a gorgeous red metallic that just sparkles in the sunlight. The chrome is all in very good condition and the stance is really set off with the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. Since its completion in 2009 it has only been driven 1,255 miles which is what currently shows on the odometer. You will be hard pressed to find another 1950 Chevy in this condition. Considering that almost $30,000 was spent in parts which did not include thousand of hours labor you will find that we have priced this gem to move quickly.
