1965 Cord 810 SPORTSMAN
1965 CORD 810 SPORTSMAN BY GLENN PRAY
This rare car, is Prototype #5 of 6 cars that were hand built in 1965, prior to Cord Automobile Company going into full production the next year to build 91 production cars. It has a Corvair Corsa 180 horsepower Turbo-Charged engine with a 4 speed
transmission and front wheel drive. This 19,900 mile car has not been restored, both body and original paint are in excellent condition, as is everything else about this car.
The 1937 Cord Front & Rear Bumpers, Windshield, Fog Lights, Tail Lights, Threshold Plates, Oxblood interior, Cord dash, original gauges are all like new. It has a new Black top and Boot Cover. My mechanic has gone over this car time and again, to make sure it is a safe and comfortable driver for get-a-way weekends, as well as “ego trips”.
