1981 Datsun 280ZX

1981 Datsun 280ZX Turbo for sale. This was my project car until a back injury left me unable to work on it.I did have the interior completely redone, and it is in pristine condition with new black leather seats and new carpeting. It has beautiful custom wheels to match the paint. As you can see in the pictures, a spoiler kit a has been added. It has just a couple nicks and a scuff on the rear bumper, and a small spot on the hoods clear coat needs touching up. The trim is intact but does need to be repainted or chromed. The body and interior are in near mint condition.
I rebuilt the rear end and put new rear disk brakes. (been sitting awhile, may need to take the rotors off and have them resurfaced to knock off the rust build up) I was still in the middle of a 350 scarab conversion when I had to stop working on it, it is 3/4 of the way complete. A 350 small block and a 350 turbo transmission are installed and mounted. The intake manifold and valve covers seen in pictures are just temps. It needs the engine accessories installed. The Eldabrock intake and carb are included and will need to be installed. The transmission linkage needs to be put on. A few minor electrical things and this car will be in running order.With just a bit of time and the right mechanical knowledge (I have a conversion manual) this car can be the amazing ride it was intended to be. I have put over $15,000. Sales price will include the vehicle, parts pictured, and of course a clear/clean blue Texas title.
