1972 DeTomaso Pantera Pre L

This car is EVIL, WICKED, MEAN and NASTY! and BRUTALLY FAST! If you have the chonies to take it there. I’ve had it up to 150 M.P.H. (on a closed track of course) and that was enough for me. The car had plenty more after that but I was good at a Buck Fifty.

This vehicle was originally blue. A previous owner (years ago) banged up the left front fender (picture included) and the insurance company listed it as a total, therefore the certificate of title (pink slip) says: Salvage however, it is registered and is no problem. It should have been fixed as all it needed was a fender. In any event the guy I bought it from was a collector and replaced the fender and painted it the red color. I bought the car about 3-4 years ago and have a total of about $65,000 in it but, ut is listed on ebay motors for alot less: item #: 250314718116.

This Pantera is not perfect and does need some minor miscellaneous work to improve the car but, it runs strong and has had all the BIG TICKET items already done. The vehicle is a real head turner and a lot of FUN to drive

Vehicle Needs:
This vehicle has a small drip at the timing chain cover. It needs a windshield wiper motor. The interior could be re-done. Plastic armrest could be replaced. Wiring at the battery should be cleaned up. Headlight Buckets Need minor massaging to go up & down smoothly. Car has an after market turn signal which probably should be replaced with a Pantera style. Minor paint chips/scratches. Minor paint peeling in engine compartment.

The Parking brake needs to be installed. The air condition is partially installed and the balance of the new air condition parts going with the vehicle.

I have the original wheels and tires which will go with the vehicle and are in good shape.
