Up for sale is a very rare 1965 Dodge Coronet 440. This car has been featured in April 09' Mopar Action Magazine. You may ask why is this car so special. This specific Coronet is the first of three cars built by Street & Performance Hot Rod Shop to have a 2006 5.7L Hemi installed. The custom performance shop had to work tirelessly to retrofit this Mopar. The car originated and was sold in Hawaii. The car remained there until it was purchased in 2006. After all the hard work and dedication this Dodge now gets 22mpg at 70-75 mph. The transmission is a 2005 545 RFE automatic which came out of a 2 wheel drive pickup. The rear end is a stout 8 3/4 with 3.23 gears. Since everything was rebuild the car has just 14,000 miles! Options include: A/C, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. Let us tell you, it is kind of strange to glance below the dash and notice an OB2 connector. There have been a lot of custom touches added to this beautiful car such as an aluminum gauge cluster. The aluminum was made to match the original pattern found on the glove box.
