1969 Dodge Dart GTS

1969 Dart GTS M Code . This is the real thing with the original # matching 440 motor ,trans and rear. I have the original build sheet in excellent condition and the fender tag is in place. A little over 600 built . This car was an old street racer and was modified when new. It has fender well headers(I don't have manifolds), trunk mounted battery, extended oil pan, drive shaft loop and all the usual period modifications. I purchased car 10 years ago from the third owner .According to him the original owner was a popular Mid Western drag racer who bought this to street race. It is not cut up other than fender wells. The odometer shows 45k miles and is correct according to him. He took the car off road in 1983 and it was mainly in dry storage. The body is very straight, tight and solid with nice original floors, trunk, glass, trim, weatherstrip etc. Interior is all original but needs seat covers(have them), carpet and headliner. Door panels are excellent. It still runs VERY strong. As you can see it needs cosmetics but it IS NOT a pile of junk by any means and needs to be seen. Original trans has been converted to full manual/reverse pattern and gears are 4:10. I do not have to sell it but I have several cars and this one just sits. Would like to see it go to someone who appreciates what it is. I will take $30,000 firm and am NOT negotiable. If you do not think it is worth it that's fine, but do not call and waste both our time please. Just thought I would put it out there and see what happens. Call for honest description.
