This stunning 1938 Dodge Sedan is for sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom. John and Horace Dodge were 2 brothers who moved to Detroit at the turn of the century. They then began making engine and chassis components for a number of automobile firms, including the already established Olds Motor Vehicle Company. Henry Ford soon heard about the two brothers and was so impressed that in 1903 he awarded them the contract to supply all of the drive trains for his line of vehicles. By 1914 the relations ship between Ford and the Dodge brothers had eroded, leading to the brothers building their first Dodge vehicle for the public. It was an instant success, and the Dodge Motor Company was born. This beautiful 1938 Dodge Touring Sedan had a full frame off restoration that includes some rebuilt parts from a donor 1967 Dodge Coronet. Painted in a rich Chestnut, suicide doors, and riding on Yokohama radial tires wrapped around reverse chrome smoothies with half moon caps, this ’38 Dodge for sale catches every eye. The interior features many modern creature comforts blended with styling and space from a time when luxury was elegant and comfortable. The plush beige interior and options like seat belts, a tilt wheel, air conditioning, am/fm radio and CD player, cruise control, and power front windows remind you to relax and enjoy the ride. The drive train in this ’38 hotrod came from a 1967 Dodge Coronet. The 318 CID V8 engine with 3-speed automatic transmission is linked to the Coronet rear end with 2.94 gears. The Dodge for sale has just under 11,000 miles since the rebuild. With power steering, and power brakes this ’38 for sale is ready to go, or for show! Flip a switch, and hit the throttle and watch everyone else watching your car spit flames. Options include: air conditioning, am/fm radio, CD player, power brakes, power steering, power front windows, cloth interior, cruise control, tilt wheel, radial tires, and hub caps. Located in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom this 1938 Dodge Sedan can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 954-227-4202 for additional information..
