This 1920 Custom Doge Touring Sedan is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Dodge Brothers began building cars in 1914 but was in the automobile industry before that. Originally starting as just a parts supplier to Ford the brothers felt they could build a better car for less. They had a good argument considering their car had a much more sophisticated design with things such as a 12 volt electrical system and a 35hp engine. These were all major advancements but nothing compared to what this 1920 has become. Starting life as a regular old 4 door sedan the body was taken off and the frame scrapped. A custom built chassis was assembled from scratch with the frame having all TCI components and hardware. The body itself was solid and in no need of any major repairs so the next decision was what color? After a long debate it was determined that the custom 1920 dodge would be green which turned out really nice. The paint was laid on nice and heavy with the frame actually receiving the same treatment giving it a clean and finished look. Twist the custom fasteners to release the hood and you will notice a detailed small block that sounds great and looks even better. With an Edelbrock intake matched to the Holley carb power is plentiful and at your disposal. The custom made headers exit out the side and run parallel with the frame giving it a very sleek understated look. Peek inside and the tan interior looks great against the Green paint with the Lokar shifter handling the turbo 350 it's actually a very easy comfortable car to drive. Take the custom tan top off and not only does it look even better but the fun factor has risen as well. With the huge tires on the rear and the ability to carry four comfortably this street rod is ready for not only but your buddy's as well.
