Current mileage reads 112764 km which is believed to be original and unaltered.
This car is the first example of the 508D chassis with the 128D motor(inside plug,new design of cylinder block,single distributor,different water pump and intake valves). The car has a fiberglass-molded rear trunk lid. To my knowledge the engine has not been rebuilt and holds 45-50 on the oil pressure gauge at 60-70 mph...I drive the car 2-4 times per month and last weekend was on the Ortega Run with the Ferrari Club-SW Region. It has been driven to and displayed at Concorso Italiano in Carmel, CA the last two years. All lights and accessories work except the clock, which occasionally comes to life.( a connection that needs to be chased down). The lacquer paint is a deep,dark shade of wineberry red and is still in really nice shape. The seats are the original leather and have been re-padded and re-stitched last year by Geisen's of Laguna Hills,CA...the carpet is tan wool and also believed to be the original set. The wheels are the correct Borrani's, 3526 and have Englebert Competition P tires (6.00X16). I have a partial tool kit that will go with the car which includes jack, knock-off hammer,spark plug tongs, and assorted wrenchs in the correct black leather case. I also have a copy of the owners manual and the sales brochure from 1958.The car goes with a custom-made tan evolution 4 cover from MarkII Enterprises.
