1971 Fiat 124 Spyder |
|
I have owned this car since 1971, I am only the second owner. Blue ( #426 French Blue to be exact) with black interior. 1608 cc 4 cylinder with DOHC. The 71 model with 1608 cc is not very common, and was probably one of the best engines used in the 124 . It was the most powerful engine Fiat offered in the Spyder...110 hp/9.8 to 1 compression. Even more horsepower than on the later 2000 cc models. Original Factory Fiamm airhorns, good tires, no rust. One rear brake drags a little, though I may get around to fixing that before the car gets sold. No significant damage to the body. All original badges, insignias, grill, bumper pads, and top boot are still on the car. I have many spare parts that will go with the car, including an extra rebuildable 1608 cc engine. This car and I have shared a lot of enjoyable miles together, but it is time to part company. With a little bit of work, this could be your show car!
