1940 Ford Business Coupe 

The 1940 Ford Coupe is considered to be among the most sought after American collector cars. For many, the most beautiful and stylish body Ford ever created.
These cars with their fat fenders and flowing roofline are popular among purists as well as Street Rodders.

This particular car combines both, an uncut and all original steel body and tasteful upgrades to make it a mild Street Rod.

The body was restored 25 years ago(!) and still shows absolutely gorgeous. Laser straight with good gaps and perfect paint. The car has its complete hard to find trim and bright work down to the original license plate holder on the trunk lid.

The engine is a Chevrolet ZZ4 350/360hp unit hooked to a brand-new (300 miles) 700R transmission with Lokart Vintage shifter. The car runs and drives perfect and is very powerful. Cruises easy at 75mph all day but will snap your neck anytime you feel like it. Disc brakes all around.

Recently, within the last 4 months the car received:

New 700R transmission and supporting frames.
New steel gas tank
New fuel pump and lines
New Autometer gauges custom fit to panel
New wiring
New steel rims and hubcaps/rings
New 1940 steering wheel
New (still in the box) Vintage air condition complete and ready to install
