1965 Ford Cobra Replica

Registered as a 1970.This vehicle is not perfect however, very little is needed in that I am the 3rd owner and both prior owners (as well as myself) have taken good care of it.

This vehicle has the All Important California Registration.

Engine is a Ford 351M, Mild isky cam, 9 to 1 compression, high volume oil pump, balanced crankshaft assembly, Edelbrock manifold, Holly 650 carburetor, Midstates headers & side pipes ceramic coated.

Radiator is a custom built Fluidyne aluminum unit, with an electric fan.

Steering is a Ford power rack and pinion.

Transmission is a Ford 4-Speed top loader with a hurst shifter.

Differential is a Ford 8” with 3.4 gearing.

Leather bucket seats.

I have some additional parts, bumpers, knock off wheel tools that go with this car.

Note: Transmission and differential were rebuilt with new bearings and related parts. Clutch is hydraulic-cylinder activated.

Drive shaft and related parts were built by Oceanside Driveline.

Brakes are disc in front and drums in rear. Master cylinders are CNC located in San Diego.

Body and frame is from Midstates Classic Car, located in Hooper, Nebraska.

Paint is Black lacquer with a clear coat.

Wheels are 15” Trigo knock-offs, shocks & springs are Aldon units.

Gas Tank is a 1969 Chev. Unit about 14 gallons, sending unit is a GM.

Brand new Optima Battery replaced in Oct. 2008.

The only thing I am aware of this car needs is repair of some minor paint chips, and a good detail. I also recently noticed a very small oil drip under the vehicle.
