We can pretty much sum up the quality and condition of this car with two words "Dearborn Award". This elegant 4 door convertible won the highest club award that can be presented to a restored vehicle. These first two lines should answer any questions abut the condition of this luxury rag top, but we'll try to describe the obvious. The burgundy (base clear coat) still looks wet to the touch and is the perfect combination with the luscious light brown all leather interior finished with an impeccable tan convertible top. Double white wall Ford tires seem to bring this blue oval show car back down to earth. Engine, engine compartment and undercarriage appear as they did when pushed off the assembly line 69 years ago. Speaking of the engine, it's a V8 flathead with 85 horsepower. Transmission is 3-speed manual with floor shifter. The re-birth of this grand automobile took place in 2000, but it looks like they turned the final wrench yesterday.
