1951 Ford F1 Stake Bed

West Coast Classics are proud to present an exceptionally straight and rust free and great daily driving survivor of this very rare and original looking 1951 Ford F1 Stake Bed Pick Up Truck with a highly desirable 289 V8 engine which is extremely powerful for this truck and its original 3 speed column shifting (Three on the Tree) manual transmission. The truck is a beautiful example and an older restoration that boasts power assisted steering to match its upgraded 289 V8 engine!

The truck is a true survivor and a perfect candidate to drive and enjoy whilst restoring further or simply to be used as a super striking daily driver or promotional truck! The truck had recently come out of storage and had undergone an extensive mechanical restoration leaving the truck driving as good as when new!

The original factory color 'Meadow Green' paint is in very good condition with only very minor imperfections noticeable upon very close inspection and the original interior is mostly still complete and very presentable. This great daily driving 1951 F1 Pick Up is a perfect candidate for the classic truck enthusiast to drive and enjoy whilst restoring. There is no rust and the wooden stake bed is in quite exceptional condition with no rotting whatsoever.

This first generation F1 series was built between 1948-52 and had a maximum GVWR of 4,700 lbs and the F-series was given a facelift in 1951. This particular truck's rebuilt 289 V8 engine runs strong and sounds absolutely magnificent and the truck drives really well - must be driven to be appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver!
