1955 Ford F100 

In 1953 Ford redesigned the F-Series trucks with a more integrated look. They also renamed it the F-100 and they upgraded the interiors with a dome light, a lighter, arm rests, sun visors and a radio. This particular example was converted to a street rod about 3 years ago and is a blast to drive. It was a labor of love that took the previous owner over 3 years to complete. The body is 100% rust free and was primed and painted flat black. The heart of this bad boy is a Windsor 351 ci V8 that was rebuilt during the build. It is fit with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and Performer intake. It has Edelbrock 351W Performer heads, roller rockers, hydraulic lifters and a healthy cam that still idles without an issue. The exhaust is handled with a set of ceramic coated performance headers that sound just plain nasty ripping through its dual 3” performance exhaust. The rear was tubbed to accommodate the huge 15” wide Coker Pro Trac S375 drag radials. The power is put to those big meats via a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission and a 12 bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gears. The engine bay is show quality with enough polished and chrome parts to dazzle anyone. It has a nice clean interior with VDO gauges, power seats, a heater, a custom steering wheel and a nice stereo. The bed looks awesome with its freshly stained wood and wood trunk that doubles as a storage box for the custom fit car cover. There is an itemized list of all the parts used at the bottom of our pix. You will see that close to $25,000 was spent on parts alone which does not account for thousands of hours of labor or the cost of the original truck.
